Graves Motorsports UTV Spark Arrestor Sound Insert Kit. For direct fit to Graves Slip-on and Full System silencers for the 2015-2017 YXZ and Can Am Maverick X3. For customers that need a US Forrest Approved insert for riding.

  1. Nice improvement over previous design

    I recently bought a replacement spark arrestor due to high use of my old one resulting in difficulty removing it. They have made some nice improvements and it provides a reduction in flow resistance resulting increased power and increased sound level. I personally like both. Sounds much better and I am surprised at the increase in performance. I have the full Graves tune on a 2016 YXZ. It also eliminates the threaded hole and uses a nut with easy access. One thing I did is to use a longer screw with a 3/4" steel spacer to bring the screw head outside of the muffler body. No more lost screws and lock washer in the muffler casing!!

    Make sure the spark arrestor is firmly screwed into the Sound Insert. I neglected to check this and had my spark arrestor back out and rattle around inside the muffler. To put this much effort into the machining, fit and finish of a quiet core/ spark arrestor is a testament to Graves’ commitment to quality workmanship. It significantly reduces the dB level of the Graves exhaust while still giving a better exhaust note than the factory pipe. You do notice a reduction in power vs. running with the Graves uncorked. That being said, there are still solid performance gains to be had running the Graves Full exhaust with the Spark Arrestor/ Sound Insert installed versus the stock exhaust. I just wish there was an option to run the spark arrestor without the Sound Insert.
