The new SD20 piston-style Road & Track steering damper features a larger cylinder and piston, offering tighter tolerances and a more efficient design. With its exclusive cylinder-valve design, inspired by our racing applications and EC steering damper, it significantly enhances rider comfort. Unlike a traditional needle valve, the cylinder valve features a series of holes that are restricted by an edge inside the cylinder to balance the force applied to the damper actuator. This allows for quicker adjustments and increases sensitivity and responsiveness across both the low and high ends of the adjustment range. This universal version of our steering damper has a stroke length of 70 mm. The new SD20 steering damper is designed to enhance agility and performance across all parameters and riding conditions.
