Fast Facts: Clinton has competed in the South African National Superbike since 2004. He will be competing in the Daytona Sportbike Class with the Project 1 Atlanta Yamaha team on his #4 YZF-R6.
Career highlights: In 2009 Clinton won 4 races in the South African Superbike Championship and 5 podium finishes. He also competed in the last round of the AMA Daytona Sportbike class in New Jersey with a 9th place finish in the second race. In 2008 Clint won 3 Races with 10 podiums finishes with an overall Championship position of 2nd place. In 2007 Clint won 2 races and 6 podium finishes. In 2006 he won 1 race with 3 podium finishes. In 2005 Clint competed in his rookie year in the SA Superbike class. In 2004 Clint competed in the South African supersport 600cc class where he won 6 races and broke 6 lap records with a championship position of 2ND in the National and Gauteng championship.
