MARK BURKHART continues to dominate the Supermoto circuit. Taking the Win Saturday in San Diego
"Graves Motorsports Yamaha's Mark Burkhart was the only rider in the Supermoto event that was doing a triple-triple line just after the track re-entered the stadium, so he was the immediate favorite to win the Supermoto X event".
Burkhart got stuck in the back of the pack at the start, but managed to make it all the way up to third, using the triple-triple line to move to the front quickly.
Burkhart caught up to Herfoss and Ward, taking Herfoss and catching up quickly to Ward, who was beginning to show his age.
Cassidy Anderston and Benny Carlson ended up fourth and fifth.
Burkhart took the win going away over Herfoss who passed Ward late in the race for the runner-up spot.
