Graves Motorsports has a history of Championship Winning Yamaha Race Programs. Introducing the 2012 Team Monster Energy Graves Yamaha. After an inaugural season of unparalleled success, the partnership between Monster Energy and Yamaha is back for 2012. Formed in 2011, the Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha team captured the 2011 AMA Pro Racing National Guard American SuperBike Championship behind the riding of defending 2010 Champion Josh Hayes, along with a host of wins in the Daytona SportBike class by young phenom Josh Herrin. 2012 will see both Hayes and Herrin aboard the striking Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha R1 in the SuperBike class. With two hungry riders and a team fresh off two SuperBike Championships in a row, you can be sure to see the Monster Energy M-Claw at the front of the field all season long.
“The 2011 season was nothing less than a success with the Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha team taking the SuperBike championship in our first year working together,” said Alex Dunstan, Motorsports Manager for Monster Energy. “Hayes was an absolute beast all year long, and he will be fiercely defending his title along with young Herrin eager to show the established SuperBike guys he’s got what it takes. We look forward to another great year working with the Yamaha Motor Corporation
