Bought one of these and not only was it much lighter than an under-tail system, but out on the track it was amazing how much quicker the bike changed direction due to not having the weight up high. Looks super trick too.
Only one gripe, while everyone has said it sounds awesome and they can definitely hear me coming up behind them, it's too loud and unless you're using earplugs, engine noise will wear you out fast.
Graves could stand to make the pipe and canister a little longer by bring it out a little further, just like Rossi's bike. Cheaper and lighter than the under-tail, more horsepower, and very trick looking... Overall, I'd say it's a great buy!

The Shorty pipe is the way to go! this thing sounds like a Schanook helicopter taking off when we run our R1 on the dyno! Every time our guys run it in the shop or on the dyno everyone in the building runs over to see what's going on. Dare to be different, get the Shorty.

Lets see, it's the cheapest, coolest, lightest, and it gives the most power boost of all the exhausts for the R1. Hmmm.... It sounds just awesome! Indeed like a helicopter at low RPM and like a top-fuel dragster at higher revs. It's louder than stock, but not obnoxiously loud, especially at lower throttle/rpm. The weight missing from up high is so nice, and the heat from the center-up that burns the back of my legs is gone. My chick can actually fit her feet on the passenger pegs now too. This is honestly the PERFECT exhaust for this bike. Installed super easy and I've had no problems after 1000 miles. Quit your shopping now and just GET IT!!!
