This bike was set up by a fellow named Darren who resided in Tempe AZ. I purchased it from him this past April. This bike, an 05 R1 is equipped with a Graves full Ti exhaust system, a YEC kit ecu and YEC quick shifter (I'm told from Jamie Hackings 05 R1), power commander with a custom map, and Graves velocity stacks. The rear shock is an Ohlins (Graves Spec) unit with hydraulic pre-load. The rear sets are Graves units with the brake return spring added. The frame & clutch sliders, and engine case covers are Graves too.
I previously had a bone stock 05 R1 and have taken both this bike and my stocker to the track and couldn't believe the difference in power between the two. This bike feels solid whereas the stock bike felt soft. The suspension has a lot to do with that as well as the rear sets which have zero flex in them. This bikes' been through two low sides on the left side and the graves parts have sustained well, without causing the need for any major repairs or parts replacements. The power displacement this bike has seems more linear that stock, and the bike pulls like a freight train. The exhaust has maintained well for the abuse it's been through; several Willow Springs races and track days here in North Florida.
Overall, I'd recommend any of the Graves products that are on this bike to anyone who wanted Quality, performance, and durability in their components.
Sincerely,Shawn Collins.
